 Canine Bodywork & Rehabilitation Support

Not Just Massage. Targeted Neurological & Structural Support.

Soul Paws bodywork integrates rehabilitation-informed techniques designed to support how your dog moves, regulates, and adapts over time.

Every session is guided by:

• Anatomy

• Nervous system state

• Breed wiring

• Age and medical history

• Current mobility patterns

This is physiotherapy-style bodywork — delivered in-home, calmly, and collaboratively.

Why Bodywork Works

Movement is controlled by nerves.

Sensory input travels to the brain in milliseconds. The brain sends instructions back to muscles, joints, and fascia.

When that communication is efficient, movement feels smooth.

When compensation develops, certain tissues guard, overwork, or tighten to protect something else.

Skilled touch feeds new information into that system, allowing the brain to reduce guarding, improve circulation, and restore more balanced load distribution.

This is regulation — not just relaxation.

Frequency & Consistency

All dogs benefit from canine bodywork.

Depending on each dog's unique breed, needs, tension patterns, age, mobility and goals of their guardian, both frequency and length of sessions are recommended.

Typically, the following are general guidelines:

Weekly for active rehabilitation

Bi-weekly for moderate support.

Monthly for maintenance.

For some breeds and personalities, shorter 30 minute sessions more frequently are more beneficial.
