A comprehensive session to assess, strengthen, teach and treat—without rushing the process. This is more than a longer appointment. It gives your dog time to move, learn, settle and receive thorough hands-on care in one responsive session. A session may include: • Functional movement, gait and postural assessment • Individualized strengthening and stability exercises • Balance, proprioception and controlled weight shifting • Mobility, stretching and movement re-education • Cavaletti, platforms, pivots or other functional exercise • A new skill, trick or training concept • Down-regulation and preparation for comfortable hands-on care • Comprehensive massage and multimodal bodywork • Myofascial, circulatory, acupressure, craniosacral or NIR support • Reassessment and practical home recommendations WHO BENEFITS? Some dogs need focused movement followed by extensive hands-on treatment. Others benefit from more assessment, strengthening or skill development before settling into massage. The session is shaped around your dog’s comfort, energy, mobility, goals and response to treatment. Most appointments include a substantial hands-on component, but the balance may vary. This is not 100 minutes of continuous exercise or intensive bodywork. It is a complete, responsive process of assessing, moving, teaching, treating and reassessing, with natural transitions throughout. BOOKING NOTE Best suited to dogs who have completed a Soul Paws First Visit or established clients whose goals warrant a comprehensive appointment. For post-operative cases or dogs receiving rehabilitation care, please provide current veterinary restrictions or rehabilitation recommendations where applicable. The session follows your dog’s capacity, curiosity and needs—not a rigid stopwatch.
