Service Description
Movement and bodywork—individualized for the dog in front of me. MOVE + MASSAGE combines functional strengthening, mobility, balance, proprioception and therapeutic exercise with professional canine massage and multimodal hands-on bodywork. Designed for dogs of all ages, fitness levels and mobility abilities, from young active dogs and adventure companions to seniors, deconditioned dogs and dogs receiving rehabilitation support. Exercise selection, difficulty and hands-on care are adapted to your dog’s needs, comfort and capacity on that particular day. Choose your dog’s primary goal: STAY STRONG — active, adventure and maintenance dogs MOVE EASIER — seniors, arthritis, stiffness or declining strength and confidence RECOVER & REBUILD — veterinary-diagnosed injury, post-operative or rehabilitation support Depending on your dog, a session may include controlled strengthening, weight shifting, balance and proprioception work, functional movement, stretching, massage, myofascial techniques, circulatory work, acupressure and NIR light therapy when appropriate. There is no fixed movement-to-massage ratio. Some dogs may need more movement and less hands-on work; others may benefit from a brief movement assessment followed by a longer bodywork session. Your dog’s response guides the session. Bodywork helps create better capacity for movement. Strengthening helps the body keep it.
Cancellation Policy
Booking Services • All booked bodywork (rehab or preventative Swedish Massage, Neurovascular Release, Craniosacral Therapy, walking and pet sitting services are due no later than the day of service scheduled. e-Transfer is the preferred payment method and a free Soul Paws package of treats will be offered as an extra thank you! • All 5, 10 or 20 packages are discounted and requested available time slots are reserved for the duration of the package commencing on the first day of service. Payment for package deals are required no later than 24 hours prior to the first scheduled session in the package. Cancellation/Change Requests & Refunds • Provide 24 hours' notice for cancellation of bodywork or dog walking sessions. Rebooking of sessions will be based upon availability of your preferred time slot(s). Payment is required at or prior to the service provided for non-package sessions. • For pet sitting cancellations, please provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for a 100% refund. Payment is required no later than 48 hours prior to the date of pet sitting services. Soul Paws understands that unforeseen circumstances can impede planned events, and therefore will do everything reasonable to accommodate any change requests. Soul Paws reserves the right to retain $95 (the first day) of a last minute (less than 24hrs) cancelled 7-day pet sitting booking.
