Comprehensive Canine Bodywork 30-35 min
Because Some Dogs Heal Better in Smaller Doses
Service Description
This session offers the same professional, integrative bodywork as the Comprehensive Canine Bodywork Session—delivered in a shorter, highly focused format for dogs who benefit more from having their care thoughtfully divided. Rather than compressing a full session into less time, this format allows for calm, deliberate work without overstimulation, giving the nervous system and tissues space to respond and integrate. For many dogs, two shorter sessions provide greater benefit than a single extended appointment. Each session may include: 🐾 Neurovascular Release (NVR) To support nerve root function, dermatome health, circulation, and communication between the nervous system and surrounding tissues. 🐾 Myofascial Release (MFR) To improve the health and adaptability of fascia, addressing restriction and long-standing tension patterns. 🐾 Swedish Massage Techniques Applied to muscles to support tissue health, circulation, and reduction of trigger points (“knots”). 🐾 Rehabilitation Massage Techniques Used to address pain, inflammation, recovery, compensation patterns, immune support, and circulation. 🐾 Craniosacral Therapy A gentle, non-force approach that supports musculoskeletal and nervous system balance. 🐾 Acupressure (Traditional Chinese Medicine) When appropriate, to promote relaxation, support immunity, and encourage overall balance. Who These Sessions Are Ideal For This format is especially well suited for: 🐾 Dogs with heightened sensitivity to touch or lower tolerance for prolonged handling 🐾 Senior dogs managing chronic compensation patterns 🐾 Puppies and adolescents, where shorter sessions support positive learning and body awareness 🐾 Herding breeds, many retrievers, and brachycephalic breeds, who often process bodywork more effectively in shorter sessions 🐾 Dogs whose full 60–70 minute bodywork session is best achieved by splitting the work into two 30–35 minute visits How This Session Is Used Focused sessions may be booked as standalone appointments or as part of a care plan where a comprehensive session is intentionally divided. The goal is not to do less—but to do what the dog can best receive.
