Soul Paws offers private, in home overnight dog sitting for guardians who want their dog cared for in a familiar low-stress environment while they're away. This service provides up to 24 hours of attentive care in your home, maintaining your dog's normal routine, surroundings and sense of security. Each overnight stay includes two 30-minute walks per day (or adjusted based on your dog’s needs), feeding, fresh water, medications if required, and ongoing supervision. I match your dog’s existing schedule as closely as possible—wake-ups, walks, meals, rest periods—to support continuity and reduce anxiety. Your dog is cared for by a multi-certified canine bodywork practitioner, canine first-aid certified professional, experienced dog handler, and lifelong dog guardian. While this is not a therapeutic boarding service, gentle supportive bodywork or calming touch may be offered as a bonus when appropriate, particularly for senior dogs or dogs with stiffness, anxiety, or mobility changes. In-home care reduces many of the risks associated with boarding facilities, including exposure to illness, overstimulation, confinement stress, and unfamiliar handling. Your home is also lightly cared for while you’re away, adding an extra layer of security and peace of mind. Photo and video updates are provided as often as requested, so you can stay connected and reassured while you’re gone. This service is ideal for dogs who do best at home, senior dogs, dogs with medical or mobility needs, and guardians who value experienced, thoughtful care.
